1 for 100, 100 for one

The idea is to design a pavilion that can accommodate one artist for a hundred days and hosts a hundred people for an exhibition in one day.

So I take lots of columns and organize them in a grid like a cluster trees to support a large curved roof. Weaving between this are curving walls that separate the artist’s studio and exhibition area.

During day time, Natural light streams through the peeling roof and casting on designated spots that guide visitors through the space. rain can also enters through these openings and recirculates into a pond that envelops the pavilion, casting reflection into the interior space
