This project is revealing the invisibles – decentralized data centers for public decisions. This project will use this methodology to test a pilot project focusing on participatory phytoremediation.
Groundwater, though hidden from sights, sustain marsh ecosystems with precipitation and the dynamic change of water table. Over the last century, groundwater management boundaries have been reshaped by policy decisions, which makes monitoring the invisible GW more challenging. Current USGS water stations lack local GW monitoring, especially around the important filtration areas of the Rumney Marsh.
