Biennale dello Stretto returns with Mutations, a programme examining transformation, disruption and possible futures through architecture and design.

The main exhibition occupies the former military fortress Forte Batteria Siacci. Additional events take place at cultural venues including the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria, Villa Genoese Zerbi and Palazzo Monte di Pietà. Created by Alfonso Femia and produced by Fondazione Le Città del Futuro, the 2026 edition has scientific direction by Femia, Annalisa Metta and Salima Naji.
