forREST

The project is designed to offer festival-goers a dual experience: a direct communal experience from the proposed auditorium, which doubles as a bar, and a more personal, secluded experience within the depths of the Latvian forest. Our design, utilizing a network of cables and gramophones, ensures that sound travels beautifully through the trees, reaching a series of specially selected locations. “forREST” transforms into a living organism that grows from the stage, using the local flora and fauna as focal points, providing an enchanting blend of sound, nature, and light. Our design respects and amplifies the natural beauty and sounds of the forest, creating a symbiotic relationship between the festival and its surroundings.
