Spaces of Inclusive: High-Performance Sustainable Mixed-Use System as Public Space Innovation

The treatment of a high-performance system landscape investigated a series of complex approaches, such as urban agriculture, rain gardens, and green roofs, all according to different micro-climate and geographical conditions to create an artificial landscape. It is suitable for the downtown of Auburn to comprehensively address the full range of ecosystem services and landscape performance – including social, ecological, and economic factors. This project proposes an efficient landscape system and through the processing, the complex approach of these high-performance systems landscape designs will be Downtown to get into livable and gathering activities, as well as become the landmark of the City of Auburn. Our proposals connect form with space and interiors with the landscape, consider climate and vegetation, and create sustainable and ecologically sensitive urban public spaces, considering technologies that focus on material mixed-use. Ultimately, the high-performance system is a tool for communicating a new way of thinking about public space to residents of Auburn.
